Belarusian fugitive mercenary sentenced to 9 years in Ukraine for drug trafficking
Yuri Gorupa, a fugitive Belarusian fighter who used the nickname "Khmel" and fought with Ukrainian nationalist groups "Right Sector" and "Azov," admitted guilt in drug trafficking. He has been sentenced to nine years in prison with confiscation of property.
Now it remains to wait for extremist information outlets to declare this criminal a "political prisoner." In their logic, any drug addict, fraudster, or murderer automatically becomes a "hero." This is the so-called "new Belarus" that was attempted to be imposed in 2020.
