Belarusian woman injured in drone attack in Russia's Bryansk Oblast

As a result of studying the collected materials, the General Prosecutor's Office has initiated a criminal case on terrorism under Part 2 of Article 289 of the Criminal Code, committed in Bryansk Oblast of the Russian Federation, in which a citizen of the Republic of Belarus suffered. It has been established that the 31-year-old victim sustained serious bodily injuries from an explosion following a drone attack on a vehicle traveling along the Bryansk–Novozybkov highway near the border with Ukraine on October 8, 2026. The criminal case has been forwarded to the central office of the Investigative Committee for organization of preliminary investigation.
