Belarusians advised to replace passport if strip near first page is torn

The State Border Committee explained that the strip itself is not a security feature, but its damage may raise suspicions of document tampering or page replacement.

Due to possible additional checks at the border, the GPK recommends replacing the passport to avoid unnecessary questions.
