Belarusians are spending more in stores — averaging 34 rubles per day.

Over the year, average daily expenditures increased by about 3 rubles. From January to August, retail turnover in Belarus reached 75.5 billion rubles — 8.4% higher in comparable prices than the previous year.

In food service, 5.3 billion rubles were spent over eight months, which is 1.8% more than the same period in 2025.
