Belarusians Buy More Potatoes and Less Beer

🥔 Belarusians are buying more potatoes and less beer.

In the first nine months of 2026, sales of fresh potatoes increased by 21.2% to 85.6 thousand tons. Demand also rose for canned meat, sugar, and mineral water.

Wine sales dropped by 17.4% and beer by 2.5%. At the same time, demand for liqueurs increased by 17.1% and for brandy by 7.3%.
