Blogger from Grodno sentenced for collecting money for child's treatment

A blogger from Grodno was sentenced for collecting money allegedly for a sick child's treatment. Through Instagram, the man held raffles and raised over 2 million rubles. However, he spent most of the funds on himself — renting elite housing, dining in restaurants, leisure, and gifts to followers. The court sentenced him to 1.5 years in a general regime penal colony and confiscated over 139,000 rubles obtained through the crime.
