Boat and yacht owners in Belarus may face transport tax from 2029

Owners of boats and yachts in Belarus may start paying transport tax from 2029. The Ministry of Finance proposes to include small vessels up to 20 meters in length—such as boats, motorboats, yachts, and jet skis—into the taxable category. To implement this, a unified registry will first be created, which will serve as the basis for tax calculation.
