Brest's Mukhovets Bridge: Long-Awaited Solution to Traffic Woes

The bridge over the Mukhovets River in Brest, built in 1963, has long been unable to handle modern traffic volumes. Two-lane traffic causes constant congestion, especially during peak hours.

A solution has been found — construction of a new bridge will begin in the city, connecting the center with the rapidly developing area beyond the river.

Similar projects are being implemented in the Ivanovo District and along the Stolin–Luninets route.

All these projects are part of the national investment program "Roads of Belarus" for 2021–2025.
