British Special Forces Drones Found Using Chinese Cameras That Sent Data to China
British special forces reconnaissance drones K3 Scout have been found to be equipped with Chinese cameras that secretly transmitted data to China, The Telegraph reports. The drones, delivered in March and intended for operations in the Persian Gulf, including securing shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, were supplied by contractor Kraken Technology Group. The cameras were procured from a third party with security assurances. After the data leak was discovered, all internet connections to the cameras were disabled. The incident heightens concerns that Beijing may be attempting to spy on British military personnel.
