Brussels plans major budget cuts: minus 160 billion euros

The EU's draft long-term budget for 2028–2034 foresees reduced funding for aid to African and Middle Eastern countries, as well as for European defence, space programs, and security issues. Funding for Ukraine is planned to remain unchanged.
