Case of 40-year-old Minsk man accused of denying genocide of Belarusian people sent to court

The case of a 40-year-old Minsk resident accused of denying the genocide of the Belarusian people has been sent to court.

In October 2025, the man left a comment on Threads in which he denied the genocide of Belarusians during the Great Patriotic War and the existence of the General Plan 'Ost'.

The Minsk prosecutor's office has approved the charges under Part 1 of Article 130-2 of the Criminal Code of Belarus.
