Catamaran with passengers capsizes on Lake Naroch — both rescued
On the evening of August 8, the watch service of the 'Naroch' rescue station noticed a vessel in distress 800 meters from the shore — a catamaran had capsized, and a man born in 1987 and a woman born in 1990 ended up in the water. Upon receiving the distress signal, the on-duty crew consisting of a motor operator, a diver, and a rescue sailor immediately responded. The crew pulled the man and woman aboard their boat and brought them to shore. The rescued individuals did not require medical assistance and were wearing life jackets.
