Cement tanker overturns on highway near Minsk

The accident occurred at around 13:45 at the 13th kilometer of the R1 Minsk–Dzerzhinsk highway near the agrotown of Shchomyslitsa. A driver born in 1947, driving a Hyundai Solaris from Minsk along the middle lane, attempted to change to the far right lane to turn right but failed to yield, colliding with a MAZ truck moving in the same direction in the far right lane, which was towing a semitrailer. As a result of the collision, the semitrailer carrying a cement tanker (26 tons of cement) overturned onto the roadway.
