China developing high-power microwave weapons capable of targeting satellites

According to a new Chinese defense study, high-power microwave (HPM) weapon systems can generate pulses with a power of up to 100 gigawatts. The report claims such systems could disable or damage satellites in low Earth orbit, including Starlink satellites, and would be significantly cheaper to use than traditional anti-satellite weapons.
