Chinese startup raises $3M for laser mosquito defense system

A Chinese startup has raised $3 million to develop a laser-based system to combat insects. The system uses two lasers: LiDAR scans the area for mosquitoes, and the second laser instantly targets and destroys them. The entire process takes just 3 milliseconds, enabling the system to eliminate up to 30 mosquitoes per second.
