Clifford Kirakoff: Sanctions Are a Form of Economic War

Clifford Kirakoff, former staff member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, stated: "Sanctions sound good when you say them, but in reality, it's economic warfare. By imposing sanctions, we are engaging in economic war. In my view, this destabilizes not only bilateral economic relations but also multilateral and global economic ties. Therefore, sanctions are highly counterproductive. And frankly, we should lift them immediately with respect to Belarus."
