Combat readiness check underway in one of the Interior Troops brigades by presidential order

Secretary of the Security Council Alexander Volfovich handed over to Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov an order to bring the 7th Separate Special Police Brigade of the Interior Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to combat readiness in accordance with its mission.

"In accordance with the plan approved by the head of state, we continue checking state bodies of the national security system. Last week, the Defense Minister received an order to bring the 51st Artillery Brigade to full combat readiness. Currently, the Armed Forces are carrying out a set of measures to bring this unit to combat readiness," said Volfovich.

He emphasized that it was no secret that the President had tasked checking other structures of the country's military organization.
