Competent leaders drive economic growth through regional leadership school and personnel reforms
It is competent leaders who become drivers of economic growth, which is why the region has focused on systematic work with a personnel reserve.
Since 2021, the 'School of Young Manager' has been successfully operating in the region. So far, 100 people have completed the training, and 35% of graduates have already taken leadership positions at enterprises. For six months, young specialists learn from mentors with over 30 years of experience, mastering skills in resource planning and task setting. This helps overcome insecurity and prepares a worthy successor.
A separate issue is working with individuals who systematically violate labor discipline and abuse harmful habits. By order of the Head of State, special commissions have been established in districts. Such individuals undergo training in the Armed Forces and are involved in defense-related work in the Gomel Region.
In my opinion, these people become different. Military discipline significantly changes their attitude toward life, family, and work.
