CSTO command-staff exercises 'Unbreakable Brotherhood — 2026' and 'Barrier-2026' to be held in Belarus

The CSTO command-staff exercise 'Unbreakable Brotherhood — 2026' and the joint CBRN and medical support exercise 'Barrier-2026' will take place in Belarus from October 12 to 16. During 'Unbreakable Brotherhood — 2026', participants will practice issues related to the preparation and conduct of a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces. During the 'Barrier-2026' exercise, participants will work on eliminating sources of biological threats in the area of responsibility of the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces. The exercises are of a planned nature and are not directed against third countries, emphasized the Ministry of Defense of Belarus. CSTO participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan are already arriving in the country.
