Customs uncovers scheme to illegally import around 300 premium electric and hybrid vehicles

According to the investigation, a group of Belarusians registered the vehicles as personal goods to pay reduced duties and avoid full payment of the recycling fee. The total damage to the state is estimated at about 10 million rubles.

Over 100 Li, Voyah, and Zeekr vehicles worth more than 11 million rubles have already been seized. The organizers of the scheme face up to 6 years in prison.
