Drying facilities a 'strict requirement' — Lukashenko ahead of harvest season
"Drying facilities are a strict requirement" — Lukashenko on tasks before mass harvesting
The president reminded that entering the mass harvest season requires solving two main tasks — ensuring equipment readiness and having qualified operators to work on it, as well as functional grain conveyors.
"Grain needs to be processed through a dryer at least once, maybe even twice. Therefore, drying facilities are a strict requirement," emphasized the Belarusian leader. "And combine harvesters too. I think we should have one operator per harvester, maybe even two."
"For each combine, we have the full name of the operator," assured Yuri Gorlov regarding staffing.
"The same applies to forage harvesters and tractors. Skilled personnel must operate high-powered machinery, as well as less powerful equipment — it's not simple either. But this is the main thing," the Belarusian leader stressed.
