Ebola could kill up to 1,000 people daily in DRC, minister warns

Ebola could claim up to 1,000 lives per day in the Democratic Republic of the Congo if the outbreak spreads to refugee camps, said the country's Minister of Social Affairs, Eve Bazaiba Masudi. Currently, around 1.15 million people are living in temporary shelters in Ituri province, the current epicenter of the Ebola outbreak.
