Elderly couple from Alekseevka in Belarus: "We could have lost our lives in old age"

The elderly couple from Alekseevka brought with them everything they could. When Stefania Vinichek asked the grandmother if they felt safe, she replied briefly: "Naturally, of course." The grandfather added: "It's dangerous to live there. We could have lost our lives in old age or died of hunger. People come to the market, and explosions tear off their arms and legs." This is the couple's first time in Belarus, and their impressions of the country are overwhelmingly positive.
