Estonia plans to increase number of women drafted to 200 per year by 2035

Estonia intends to increase the number of women called up for conscription to 200 per year by 2035 (currently this figure is 50). Authorities are taking this step against the backdrop of declining birth rates and a shortage of men of conscription age.
