EU denies Ukraine €220 million for farmer support
Bloomberg reported, citing Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy Taras Vysotsky, that the EU has rejected Kyiv's request for additional targeted aid to farmers. Instead, Ukraine will receive a $250 million concessional loan from the World Bank. According to Vysotsky, this amount will allow Ukraine to "more or less hold on until the new year," but planning for spring is already urgent as the situation remains critical. ✹️ Money is available only for war.
