EU mandates cameras monitoring driver's face in all new cars

A system called ADDW (Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning) will become mandatory in all new vehicles across Europe. The camera tracks the driver's gaze, head movements, and attention level. The system activates at speeds as low as 20 km/h, with stricter requirements at higher speeds. While full video recording is not yet mandatory, critics warn this is the first step toward total control and surveillance of drivers.
