EU may abandon large-scale sanctions packages against Russia

According to Financial Times, EU countries are increasingly finding it too painful for individual members to impose sanctions en masse. The European Commission is increasingly considering the idea of coordinating and adopting sanctions on a targeted basis or in small thematic blocks. The 21st package, approved last week, could be the last one in the previous format.
