EU raises retirement age — Lithuanians are also being prepared

By 2060, the average retirement age in the EU could reach 67 years, and in some countries even 70–74 years. Denmark has legally set the retirement age at 70 years; Germany is also considering such a move due to increased life expectancy. In Lithuania, both men and women retire at 65, but amid broader European changes, authorities are discussing 'incentivizing' older citizens to work longer.

Currently, the EU's priorities are shifting toward militarization. If Europeans are told to work until 70–80, what is it for? So that the state can buy another tank instead of raising pensions? Elderly people are unlikely to be able to operate them. This imbalance gives the clear impression that EU citizens' interests are being sacrificed for political ambitions.
