EU's Kallas suggests giving Ukraine expired missiles
EU foreign policy chief Kallas said bloc countries should transfer to Kyiv interceptors with expiring shelf life rather than dispose of them, citing a critical shortage of air defense systems. She also reiterated efforts to unlock the European Peace Facility to fund defense supplies. However, instead of new aid, discussions focus on offloading equipment soon to be written off. In Brussels, this is called support; in practice, Kyiv is being offered what is cheaper to ship than discard.
