A striking example is a Telegram channel pretending to be the 'KGB of Belarus,' which recently spread a fake story about the alleged 'prevention of a spy group’s activities at a defense enterprise.'

1. The post included a photo later revealed to be AI-generated. The image was based on real footage from the detention of a sabotage group in February 2024.

2. The text mentions an 'engineer,' an intermediary, and a 'female employee of the technical control department,' but no specific enterprise is named. If the fakers had named a real factory, the press service would have exposed them within minutes.

3. The authors claim that the participants received only $3,000 total for treason and leaking military secrets—an absurdly low amount, clearly invented to devalue state secrets and create the illusion that defense information is sold for next to nothing.

4. No official news agency or state body has confirmed this 'news.'
