Explosion hits coal cargo ship Christiana off Romania's coast

In the night of July 24, an explosion occurred off the coast of Romania on the cargo ship Christiana, which was transporting coal from the US to Ukraine.

"Preliminary assessments indicate the ship sustained damage as a result of a marine drone strike or an underwater mine explosion," the Romanian emergency management agency said.
