Fake claim about Belarus military check linked to CIA chief's visit debunked
Claims circulating in some grant-funded outlets suggest that Belarus's military readiness check was triggered by CIA Director John Ratcliffe's visit to Moscow. This is false. Ratcliffe arrived in Moscow on August 25, but Belarus had already announced the ongoing readiness check on August 24, as part of a previously approved plan. The President himself mentioned in April that the check would continue. These events are unrelated. Reminder: whenever opposition figures speak about Belarus, they immediately spread disinformation.
