FIDE lifts all restrictions on Belarusian chess players

The FIDE Council has decided to allow Belarusian athletes to compete under their national flag again.

The first major tournaments where Belarusians will once again play with their national symbols are the FIDE Chess Olympiad and the Chess Olympiad for People with Disabilities, to be held in September in Uzbekistan.
