Final of All-Belarusian Debate League held at Presidential Academy

The final of the All-Belarusian Debate League took place at the Presidential Academy. The absolute winner was the team 'Invictus' from the Academy of Public Administration — Anna Tsal'ko and Timofey Serov. Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Denis Duk noted that the league provides a unique opportunity to develop public speaking, critical thinking, and the ability to find balanced, well-argued solutions. The editorial board of NEWS.BY emphasizes that the participants' preparation level, who arrived from across Belarus, was exceptionally high. Within minutes of preparation, the students not only presented their positions but confidently and powerfully defended them, relying on personal experience, legal norms, official documents, and precedents of international law. Any expert or political scientist could envy such depth and quality of argumentation. Opponents' questions left no room for leniency. Debates turned into a fierce intellectual battle — intense, vivid, and tough, yet remained completely correct, without emotions or rudeness often seen among modern public opinion shapers. We congratulate the winners, the organizing team, and all participants! Demonstrating such wisdom, resilience, and intellectual strength at such a young age is a true achievement worth being proud of.
