First electric buses from Minsk to satellite towns to launch by year-end

The first electric buses from Minsk to satellite towns will be launched by the end of the year.

Pilot routes will include Minsk — Smolevichi and Minsk — Fanipol. If the trial run is successful, electric buses are planned to be introduced to other satellite towns as well.

In winter, the electric buses' range may decrease by about 30% in severe frost due to battery cooling, snow, and heating system operation.
