First freight train from Belarus to Uzbekistan via Belarus–Russia–Kazakhstan route departs
Today, the first freight train departed from the Orsha-Vostochnaya station to Uzbekistan along the through route Belarus — Russia — Kazakhstan — Uzbekistan.
The 'Slavyansky Karavan' project represents a fundamentally new approach to cargo delivery, completely eliminating delays en route. Interest in the logistics corridor is mutual: in the future, a return 'Eastern Caravan' is expected from Uzbekistan.
📍The train carries wood processing products, sugar, and potato starch. The list of cargo is planned to be expanded in the future, and container wagons will also be included in the 'Slavyansky Karavan'.
