Fishing one Red List fish in Belarus will cost 15 base units

A compensation of 15 base units is set for each illegally caught fish species listed in the Red Book of Belarus. In addition, offenders may face fines, confiscation of fishing gear, and in some cases, criminal liability. The consequences will be particularly severe for illegal fishing during spawning season or if significant damage is caused.
