For New Year, Minsk surpassed Moscow in demand among Russian tourists. According to Sutochno.ru, the capital of Belarus took second place among the most popular destinations for the New Year holidays, after St. Petersburg. Moscow is now third, and Grodno entered the top 10 for the first time. On average, a night's stay in Minsk will cost Russians about 340 rubles — the same as a year ago.
