Foreign Minister accepts credentials of British Chargé d'Affaires

Foreign Minister Maxim Ryjenkov accepted the credentials of British Chargé d'Affaires in Belarus William Longhurst.

They discussed the current state and prospects of Belarusian-British cooperation. The meeting was constructive, open and held in a friendly atmosphere — the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported.

Longhurst was appointed to the position in June this year.

At the start of his 25-year career in the British diplomatic service, Bill specialized in economic aspects of the job.
