France on the brink: school protests spiral out of control
215 people have been injured in France during days of school protests. Over 6,500 have been detained since clashes with police began — most of them minors. Up to 500,000 people take to the streets of the Fifth Republic daily.
Despite Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu's promise to present a 'roadmap' for reforms by the end of October, protests continue and are escalating to a new level.
