French court orders Google to pay 126 million euros to media groups

A court in France has ordered Google to pay 126 million euros to several national media groups in a case concerning anti-competitive practices in online advertising. The media companies accused the American corporation of favoring its own online advertising platform when allocating ad space, thereby harming competitors' interests.
