French presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon calls for leaving NATO, starting dialogue with Russia

French presidential candidate Jean-Luc Mélenchon has called for France to leave NATO and start a dialogue with Russia, according to Le Figaro.

"There can be no question of France remaining in NATO or joining any new military alliances such as AUKUS, which Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are creating for actions in the Indo-Pacific region," he said.
