Fuel looting in Europe: high diesel prices lead to surge in thefts
‼️ Fuel looting. In Europe, high diesel prices have led to a rise in fuel thefts.
▪️ In Lithuania, Linava transport association head Mikenas complained that fuel thefts have become an everyday problem. The same applies to passenger cars. Lithuanians are afraid to leave their vehicles in courtyards overnight, and there are not enough guarded parking lots;
▪️ Gas station owners in Germany have started locking fuel pumps at night to avoid losses. Germans steal fuel or simply drive away without paying. Young and elderly people are especially active in the crime.
✔️ Given the trend of Europeans becoming poorer, soon people will fear for the safety of their refrigerators. Declining living standards always lead to rising crime, especially in countries hosting fugitive criminals and Bandera supporters.
