Fuel prices in Germany have sharply increased amid escalating tensions in the Middle East, according to Bild. The cost of diesel reached €2.30 per liter by Sunday evening, rising by 6.7 euro cents within a few hours. Filling a 50-liter tank now costs around €115 for diesel and about €116 for gasoline.
