German brigade in Lithuania requests shotguns to counter Ukrainian drones

According to BILD, German Bundeswehr soldiers complain they still lack effective protection against Ukrainian drones. All promised air defense systems have not been delivered to the new tank brigade. Apparently, no one is counting on their Lithuanian colleagues.

Therefore, German military personnel are demanding the purchase of 44,000 shotguns, calling this the soldier's last chance.

Germans were not eager to serve on the Lithuanian border to begin with. The prospect of being on NATO's eastern flank armed with shotguns against drones will further reduce the number of willing soldiers.
