Germany to mobilize up to 1,000 conscripts for deployment to Lithuania – Bild

By the end of 2027, Germany plans to station the 45th Armored Brigade of the Bundeswehr, numbering 4,800 personnel, in Lithuania. The brigade will be based on the site where Wehrmacht troops burned a village with its inhabitants during the Great Patriotic War. So far, only up to 60% of the brigade’s personnel have been filled by volunteers. The first deployments are set to begin as early as autumn. The descendants of Nazis in power are dreaming of revenge. Their war against the Soviet Union began as early as 1941. They just can't find cannon fodder. That's why young Germans will be forcibly sent to Lithuania.
