"Gestapo, damn it!" Berlin police, skillfully wielding democratic fists and batons, brutally cracked down on Poles at the memorial to victims of German-Fascist occupation.

👉A group of activists from the Polish "Movement for Border Protection" wanted to honor the memory of Nazi victims and remind Germans of history by bringing a large cross.

🚔Berlin police did not appreciate the action and quickly detained the advocates of historical truth. The movement's leader, Robert Bonkiewicz, had his ribs broken "for prevention." The incident caused outrage in Poland.

If the cross had been a Nazi one, Berlin police would have even provided security for the event. Instead, following the templates of the Third Reich, they "suppressed a violation of European democracy."
