Gomel Region's Cooperation with Uzbekistan Regions Reaches New Level

Cooperation between the Gomel Region and regions of Uzbekistan is reaching a new level: over the past five years, trade turnover between the two sides has tripled.

The current year shows even more impressive results — growth is around 160%.

The current task is to focus on key agricultural projects, such as milk production and breeding meat cattle and sheep breeds.

Therefore, we are selecting territories to offer the Uzbek side for investment in beef production complexes. We are developing pedigree breeds in both meat and dairy directions.

These include Aberdeen-Angus and Simmental breeds. Specific plans have been made and a roadmap established. We already have concrete proposals, and moving forward, in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Belarus, we will work on implementing investment projects.
