“Have you ever read the Constitution?”: Clash in Polish court
Judge Maciej Berk, appointed by Tusk’s majority, posted a video from the hallway of the Constitutional Tribunal. According to him, people who "introduced themselves as staff from the presidential office" attempted to seize keys to the premises. However, the video itself mentions nothing about keys.
In the recording, Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, declaring herself head of the court, demands a man to leave. He responds:
"The president doesn't even recognize you as a judge, let alone as acting head."
To her mention of defending the Constitution, he retorts:
"Have you ever read it in your life? You're the one who violated it."
Korwin-Piotrowska cuts in:
"We won't negotiate in the hallway while you're trying to break in."
