Head of Ministry of Information on possible YouTube block in Belarus

The head of the Ministry of Information, Dmitry Zhuk, said YouTube is a "hostile" platform but stated that hasty decisions on blocking it are not advisable. According to him, authorities must consider the interests of the state and society. The minister also noted that Belarusian media continue operating on the platform and retain their audience.
